Come on in!

I won’t bite. Thee name is Courtney, and I am a Research Rookie for NIU. This is my second year in the program. I am a Sophomore here at NIU studying Clinical Laboratory Science. However, my research is in the Psychology department, specifically early adolescent.

A little more off topic about myself. I have a younger brother who I love with all my heart, despite how stubborn he is. I love my parents to death and am super close with each of them, they support me in everything I do. I graduated from Clifton Central High School with 74 kids, which can explain how small of a town I am from. My parents no longer reside there, and neither do I since I live on campus here at NIU. Here at NIU I take part in various activities, such as being a part of the honors program, Research Rookies, and I play for the Women’s Rugby team. Yes, I said rugby. It is a very fun, but very tough sport, but I have come to love it.
